EpicWrite offers three tiers designed for different types of creators, from hobbyists to professionals. All plans include the exact same tools — the only thing that differs between tiers is how much Ink you get each month.
Note: Every current price and Ink amount lives on epicwrite.ai/pricing, rendered straight from our database. This page deliberately doesn't repeat those numbers — read them there so this page never goes stale.

Free Trial
All paid plans include a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. A credit card is required to start your trial, but you won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime during the trial — no questions asked.
Novelist
Perfect for: Your first major project, serious hobbyists

- A monthly Ink allowance — the one credit that covers chat, co-writes, imports, and images

- Everything in Author, with the largest per-tier project cap and Ink allowance — power-user scale, effectively uncapped for one person
- Custom export templates
- Early access to new features
On the roadmap, not shipped yet: advanced multi-user collaboration and API access. Neither is available on any tier today — we'll update this page when they ship.

Understanding Ink
Ink is the single credit that covers everything AI-assisted: chatting with Brinley, co-writing a scene or chapter, importing a manuscript, and generating images. There's no separate word counter, chat counter, or image counter to track anymore — just one number.
What spends Ink?
Spends Ink:
- Chatting with Brinley
- Co-writing content with Brinley
- Importing an existing manuscript (Brinley reads and indexes it)
- Generating AI images
Doesn't spend Ink:
- Writing manually with AI turned off
- Reading your manuscript
- Organizing your project data
- Exporting your work
- Searching your project

What happens when you run out of Ink?
You can still:
- Write without AI assistance (unlimited)
- Read and edit existing work
- Organize your project data
- Search your project
- Export your manuscript
You can't:
- Get AI writing suggestions or co-writes
- Chat with Brinley
- Generate images
- Import new manuscripts
Your options:
- Keep writing manually until next month

Upgrading
Immediate effect:
- Your new Ink allowance starts immediately
- Unused Ink from your previous tier doesn't carry over
- Access to new features right away
Downgrading
Takes effect next billing cycle:
- Keep your current features until renewal
- Your Ink allowance adjusts on the next billing date
- Export formats change next cycle

Q: What happens to my projects if I cancel? A: You keep everything. Export your work before your subscription ends.
Q: Does unused Ink roll over? A: No. Ink resets on the 1st of each month.

Q: Is there a team/multi-user plan? A: Not yet — multi-user collaboration is on the roadmap, not shipped.
Q: Do you offer refunds? A: 30-day money-back guarantee on annual plans. Monthly plans: no refunds after billing.
Q: Can I pause my subscription? A: Not currently. Cancel and restart when ready (your projects stay saved).
